iSet™ Electro-Hydraulic Setting Tool Probe celebrates the first field test of the revolutionary new electro-hydraulic setting tool Successful completion of customer integration field test iSet™ (patent pending) was launched at the November 2014 ADIPEC show in the Middle East and generated extensive interest with the technology attracting consistently positive comments on the tools ease of use and intuitive Cyclops Touch user interface (patent pending). Probe was subsequently invited to a North Sea client test well location to demonstrate the setting of several bridge plugs with sizes ranging from 4.5” to 7”. iSet performed as expected and impressed throughout the client directed test programme, demonstrating the tools ability to pull high setting forces up to 65,000lbs with successful deployment in both vertical and horizontal sections of test casing. iSet is an electro-hydraulic setting tool designed to be conveyed on Slickline with Alkaline or Lithium batteries or on E-Line in Surface Read Out mode. Probe’s strategy revolves around developing fit-for-purpose technical tools and systems while providing customers with exemplary customer support. The Probe Technical Centres are responsible for delivering technical products and support systems while its Geo-Centres are responsible for front line customer support, training, repair & maintenance of tools as well as providing and maintaining a rental fleet of tools appropriate for that particular market.
