Probe achieves ISO 9001

ABERDEEN, UK, August 31, 2011 – The Probe Europe & West Africa Region Technical & GeoCenter based in Aberdeen, Scotland has achieved the internationally recognized ISO9001:2008 standard. This independent assessment was conducted by the British Assessment Bureau, a leading Certification Body, and demonstrates Probe's commitment to customer service and quality in delivery. The Probe companies, Probe One Ltd and Sentergy Ltd, have now earned the right to display the coveted British Assessment Bureau Quality Shield and ISO 9001:2008 logo to demonstrate its conformance to the standard. ISO 9001 was first introduced in 1987 and requires organizations to demonstrate that they do what they say they do and that they have a quality management system in place to ensure consistency and improvement; leading to high levels of performance and customer satisfaction. Certified organizations are committed to continuous improvement and are assessed annual to ensure progress is being maintained. Probe One and Sentergy have shown that they have excellent product/service reliability and process controls which means lower costs for its customers! Probe's Regional Manager Paul Church said, “We are particularly pleased to have achieved ISO9001:2008 certification as it underlines our commitment to our customers and our focus on quality. Not many customers get to see their suppliers’ ‘back-office’ activities. This recognition demonstrates we can provide a consistent, quality solution from quotation to delivery.” The benefits of registration to the ISO9001:2008 standard include: Streamlining an organization's procedures. Bringing consistency to an organization's service delivery. Reducing cost and rework. Improving an organization's management practices. Enhanced status. Competitive advantage. Lower insurance premiums. Probe’s strategy revolves around developing fit-for-purpose technical tools and systems while providing customers with exemplary customer support. Probe’s Technical Centers are responsible for delivering technical tools and support systems and its GeoCenters are responsible for front line customer support, training, repair & maintenance of tools as well as providing and maintaining a rental fleet of tools that is appropriate for that particular market. THE BRITISH ASSESSMENT BUREAU Their reputation was established in 1969 as a specialist in certification scheme management.
